Yikes, I just got myself a job. That means less spare time, but certainly not the end of my 3D models.

From a request my next model will be Tsuruya! Nyoro~n...

Hopefully, someone will test out my Horo model sometime soon. If it works nicely, I might use that as a base model for chibi models. Takes out quite a bit of the work, I tell you.

Alright, my first project is a pretty simple chibi Horo model that I made to test out Pepakura. I've only folded the head and hair so far, so I wouldn't call it completed, but I've uploaded the .PDO for you to test out anyway.

Download .PDO (713.2 KB)

I would very much appreciate it to get feedback on what to change, as well as a photo of the finished model if possible. Thanks!

As for requests, you can post them here or mail them to me at dontsudontsu@gmail.com
I'll admit it right away that my experience with anime 3D models so far have been largely focused on anime girls, so I'm not sure if I could make you a large bodybuilder-type manly character, but as long as you attach pictures of the character you want to request, I'll give it a shot. I can do both chibi and realistic characters, though the chibi ones are obviously easier and takes a lot less time to make papercraft-able in Pepakura.

Blog up and running!

Alright, got my blog up and running.
So far there's no much here, as I'm just starting up. The reason for this blog is to publish and categorize my anime 3D models-turned-papercraft.

I'm hoping I'll be able to take requests from visitors of my blog, as well as getting test-folders, since making the 3D model, making a .pdo then test-folding it over and over until it's perfect takes quite some time and as a student who takes his studies seriously I don't have too much spare time.
